Your data, your control

Delete your account & data.

You can permanently delete your Nodesto account and all associated data at any time. Two ways to do it:

Permanently delete your account

Deletion removes your profile, posts, photos, lists, taste profile, and all other personal information. The action is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app Open Nodesto, tap your Profile tab, then the menu in the top corner. Choose Help & Support → Deactivate Account and confirm.
By email Send a request from your account email to support@nodesto.com and we will confirm and process it within 48 hours.
How it works: your account is deactivated immediately and your posts are hidden. After a 7-day grace period, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. Sign back in any time within those 7 days to cancel the deletion and restore your account.

What gets deleted: your profile, username, posts, reviews, photos, lists, comments, taste profile, calorie, weight, and workout history, saved bookmarks, follow connections, notifications, and uploaded media.

What may remain:
  • Messages you sent to other users stay in the recipient's inbox — we delete your copy, but we do not delete other people's message history.
  • Automatic system backups and server logs may briefly retain copies; these roll out within our infrastructure providers' standard retention window (typically up to 30 days).
  • Aggregate analytics that no longer identify you — for example, counts like "posts created in May 2026."
  • Records under legal or safety hold — if we received a court order, regulatory request, or confirmed abuse/safety report involving your account, we retain only the records needed to meet that obligation, for as long as the obligation requires.

See our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
